Catalyst
A Journal of Theory & Strategy
Published by Jacobin Foundation
Quarterly

Catalyst is published by the Jacobin Foundation, and is their younger, more serious publication. While Jacobin tends to choose a topic and look at the history of how we got to the present situation, Catalyst has essays on current issues in our world, seen through a socialist worldview, and where we should go from here. Unlike Jacobin, it doesn’t fill it’s pages with colorful graphics and incendiary statements. Instead, it is a true journal format without visuals, a compact shape, and lovely, archival style paper. If you are interested in Socialist theory, and enjoy a long, brain-stretching read, this is your thing.
